2011-From Pastor Mike's Prayer Closet
The other night the
Holy Spirit placed this word AWOL upon my heart. He said, "Teach
this to your church, teach this to your partners and teach this to the
world."
We are all Christian
soldiers. We are all in a battle. It is the battle between good and evil.
There are two sides, God's side and devil's side. The devil hates God
with a passion, and he hates anyone who is on God's side.
Satan of course wants to use the battle to turn us from God. Cause us
to fear. Satan will win every time if you do not learn this strategy.
And the success of every battle we face hinges on strategy. And every
strategy hinges on information. That information comes from the WORD of
God!
But today, at this very hour, God's is warning Pastors all across this
globe to preach this message to the church to prepare them for the battles
of all battles. It is a battle of stealth that no generation has every
lived through. It is a battle where all that "Sci-fi" stuff…all
that "mark of the beast" stuff, you know "666" and
the "End of the World" talks, earthquakes, tsunami's, 911, famine,
tornados, floods, same sex marriage, pre-martial sex is now becoming a
reality………in our lifetime!
So---here are Satan's 3 major strategies and objectives.
Strategy #1
Divert your attention from the spiritual to the physical. From and internal
God to external one. He has created a diversion plan to throw us off his
trail. You see he has everyone fighting over a piece of real estate the
size of New Jersey called Israel. Yes that certainly is one part of his
strategy, but it is not the "mother load". His ultimate target
is not physical it is spiritual, it is souls, souls, souls……your
soul and mine.
You say----that will never happen to me! I am secure, been saved for 20
years. I go to church every Sunday! Watch out! That's what Peter said
before he denied the Lord not once, or twice but three times! He was persuaded
by pubic opinion to "GOING AWOL."
Strategy #2
Compromise and Tolerance!
You see, there are NOT simply good Christians and bad Christians. Good
people or bad people. We "all have sinned and fall short of the glory
of God" (Romans 3:23). But there are some really good Christians
that tolerate really destructive sin more than others. There are some
really good Christians that do some really bad things.
"Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness
for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet
for bitter! (Isaiah 5:20)
These are days when everyone is expected to tolerate and even accept everything
sanctioned by our great government. Idolatry, false gods, homosexuality,
baby killing, and many other "Obamanations" are the order of
the day. Don't you see it?
The world is also being welded together by computers that are interlocked
worldwide by a web that contains the full contents of hell's inventory,
which is piped into homes and offices worldwide.
Satan is fighting to win your soul, your devotion to the Spirit of Truth.

Strategy #3
Treason. Better know as "GOING AWOL, the great "falling away."
2 Thes 2:3-4 warns us......... Let no man deceive you by any means: for
that day shall not come(rapture), except there come a falling away first,
and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; Who opposeth and
exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped;
so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he
is God.
When we witness the
great falling away (AWOL) or spiritual desertion, the Anti Christ is just
a few blocks away.
Going "A.W.O.L"
is a military term that means "Absent With-Out Leave. Some also use
it to describe someone disappearing from their responsibilities. When
someone goes AWOL it mean that the person disappears without telling anyone
where they were going.
But for the Body of
Christ, we use it to describe spiritual desertion, infidelity, treason
or desertion from Christ.
Spiritual treason, or going "AWOL" is the trigger that will
usher in the rapture of the church. Please hear me, I beg of you!
As I watch and pray fervently according to the instructions of our Savior's
return, I see that something very amazing is happening. It is an unmistakable
truth that can be clearly seen by true and discerning Christians everywhere.
I am referring to the fact that the separation of the small but powerful
true remnant of Almighty God from the multitudes of a deceived antichrist
population is becoming more pronounced as we near the end of the world.
The people of Almighty God are getting more and more like the place they
are going to. They are sick of this world and are vexed by its corruption.
A new heavens and earth occupy the minds of the little flock of the last
days, and eternal glory with Jesus remains the hope of their hearts.
But NOW…sadly, we also see Christians going AWOL in our churches.
Their hearts are cooling towards the Spirit of Christ. The lukewarm church.
You can see Christian brothers and sisters who once had "heaven of
their minds" surrendering to Satan's will are getting more and more
like the place they are going to, and hell's society now predominates
the earth. People are preparing themselves for an eternity of damnation,
and the forces of hell draw near to meet them. The primary question that
arises to all who are reading this newsletter is this: which way are you
going?
The church is now preparing to spiritually desert the God of Abraham,
Isaac and Jacob in favor of a more globally acceptable "generic god".
The marriage and ordination of homosexuals along with the acceptance of
partial birth abortion are just some of the sins covered up and "normalized"
inside the church.
How many Christians are faithful to the God of the scriptures? And just
how many in the church will sign on with this Dan.9:27 global mega-deal?
"Tolerance", and "understanding" are the catchwords.
Holiness seems to be a matter of human "choice" just like abortion
and homosexuality. Compromise is an awful thing. This is well known to
those who know the God of the Bible. Warnings from scripture about mixing
"the cup of Christ with the cup of devils" (1Cor.10:21).
This deal of compromise spoken of in Dan.9:27 is the great apostasy. This
is the trigger to the end-time. This act of AWOL against the King of Kings
is what starts the drama of the final 7 years, namely, the much discussed
'70th week of Daniel'.
AWOL---or---desertion from the faith is and will go undetected because
of the power of public opinion."Everyone is doing it and getting
away with it".
Infidelity to Jesus Christ. A double -dealing church. Nice and easy religion
with half-truths and 'cover stories' crafted for the lukewarm Christians.
Brothers and sisters rewriting the word of God to suit their lifestyle.
We need the "Spirit of Truth" so that we can be motivated to
seek the face of God and repent. We need to seek the oil of His anointing
to prepare our hearts for the coming trials. Spiritual darkness is coming.
We are to procure the oil of the Holy Spirit for the lamps of our spirit
against the coming night. Let's get away from the soap opera's, ballgames
and stock-market reports and seek the face of God.
And as far as trials--- we need not worry about them if we have committed
ourselves to God and our lives to His witness. There will be trials-----but
the true test of a committed soldier starts in boot camp.
The conversion of compromise is infecting the Church. It will get worse
before it gets betters. Just look around you at Church next Sunday. Look
at how many few young people are living righteously? How many of our Pastors
have bought into the lie of same sex marriage! No, its not just our kids
or our Pastors, it all of us in one way shape or form. Admit it, the heart
of the church is GOING AWOL.
So, let me conclude this article by giving you God's # 1 strategy to guard
our hearts from GOING AWOL.
THE
HOLY SPIRIT
"For we are the circumcision (internal), which worship God in the
spirit, and rejoice in Christ Jesus, and have no confidence in the flesh
(ecternal)." (Phil 3:3)
Why do we so often start out with zeal and passion for God? But it soon
vanishes. Why do our hearts go AWOL.? Listen up and listen up good!!!!
It is the gradual
absence and reliance on the Holy Spirit and rejecting His truths---whether
we agree with Him or not! Yes, even if it means walking away from others
in the church that are living a sinful and compromising lifestyles. Yes
even if they are our own children.
When we trust in the flesh, that is, our opinions, public opinions, our
philosophies, our theologies, and try to make perfect by the flesh what
was begun in the Spirit we are substituting self for the Spirit of Truth.
Jesus said in Mathew 7 that narrow is the way that leads to life, and
few find it!
God's
# 1 Strategy for Success!
Ask the Holy Spirit
right now to teach you how to yield to Him. Ask Him to teach you how to
cooperate with Him. Ask Him to saturate you in His truths, to love His
truths, to hunger for His truths so that the spirit of repentance can
cleanse your soul. Ask Him to guard your hearts from going AWOL.
It is an urgent matter, for time is about to expire. All salvation happens
in the realm of time, not in eternity. You can call upon the Savior right
now, and then follow through with obedience to the Gospel and a full and
true conversion. Hell is no doubt full of people who would give anything
to have the opportunity that you have right now. The Savior will receive
you, and when the trumpet sounds we will all meet our Savior together
in the air.
Do it now!
May our God richly bless you by the power of His Spirit. May He hide you
under the shadow of His wings and in the confidence of His love.
